About this tool
A QR code generator creates a scannable image for a URL, plain text, Wi-Fi network, email, phone number, or SMS message. Enter the fields for the selected content type, then adjust size, margin, foreground color, background color, and L, M, Q, or H error correction before exporting.
The code is built entirely in your browser, so its contents are never uploaded and nothing is retained after you close the tab. A contrast warning appears when the selected colors may be too similar for dependable scanning. Download a PNG or scalable SVG, or copy the rendered image directly for use elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions
Do QR codes made here ever expire?
No. They are static codes that contain your chosen data directly, so there is no hosted redirect to expire.
Which error correction level should I choose?
Higher levels can tolerate more obscured modules but create denser codes. Test the final image with the devices and size you plan to use.
Why is there a QR color contrast warning?
Scanners need a clear difference between foreground modules and the background. Similar colors can make a code difficult or impossible to read.
Should I download QR output as PNG or SVG?
PNG works well at its exported pixel size. SVG stays sharp when scaled for print or larger layouts.
Is Wi-Fi or contact data uploaded?
No. The browser creates the image locally, with no account, tracking service, or stored copy of the entered content.
