Merge PDF tool

About this tool

Merge PDF combines two or more complete PDF documents into a single file. Add the documents in any order, move each file up or down, and review its size and page count before creating the result. Every page is copied as it appears in its source, including its dimensions, orientation, vector artwork, and embedded text.

The merger works entirely inside your browser, so contracts, statements, forms, and other documents are never uploaded to a service. The completed file is assembled on your device and offered as merged.pdf. A running total shows how many pages the final document will contain, while the output size is displayed before download.

How to use the Merge PDF

  1. 1Add at least two PDF files from your device.
  2. 2Check the detected page count beside every document.
  3. 3Move files up or down into the required order.
  4. 4Select Merge PDFs and wait for local processing.
  5. 5Review the output size and download merged.pdf.

Frequently asked questions

Does merging reduce the quality of PDF pages?

No. Pages are copied into the new document rather than rendered as pictures, so existing text, vectors, and image resolution remain intact.

Can the merged document contain different page sizes?

Yes. Letter, A4, landscape, and other page dimensions can coexist because each copied page keeps its original geometry.

How do I choose which PDF appears first?

Use the Move up and Move down buttons beside each filename. The visible list order becomes the page order in merged.pdf.

What happens when a protected document is added?

A password-protected PDF is rejected with a clear message because its pages cannot be read without the password.

Are the PDFs uploaded while they are merged?

No. File reading, page copying, and creation of merged.pdf all happen within the current browser tab.
