About this tool
HEIC to JPG converts photos stored in the HEIC or HEIF formats into files that are easier to open, share, and publish. Add one photo or a batch, choose JPG or PNG output, and adjust JPG quality from 50 through 100. Each source file may be as large as 100 MB.
Conversion takes place in your browser and the selected photos never leave your device. The HEIC decoder is downloaded only when you first start a conversion, so the normal page stays light. Completed images include previews, dimensions, individual downloads, and a ZIP named converted-images.zip when several results are ready.
How to use the HEIC to JPG
- 1Add one or more files with a HEIC or HEIF extension.
- 2Choose JPG for smaller photographs or PNG for lossless output.
- 3Adjust the JPG quality slider when JPG output is selected.
- 4Start conversion and wait while the browser decoder processes each image.
- 5Download one converted image or collect the completed batch in a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the first HEIC conversion take longer?
The decoder is a few megabytes and downloads when conversion begins for the first time. Later conversions can reuse the browser-cached decoder.
Should I choose JPG or PNG for an iPhone photo?
JPG is generally smaller and well suited to ordinary photographs. PNG avoids lossy compression but can create a substantially larger file.
What does the JPG quality setting change?
Higher values preserve more fine detail and usually produce larger files. A value near the default of 90 works well for many photos.
Can I convert a HEIC batch into one ZIP?
Yes. Add multiple files, convert them with the shared output settings, and use Download all to create converted-images.zip.
Are HEIC photos uploaded during conversion?
No. Decoding, JPG or PNG creation, previews, and ZIP packaging all run within your browser on the current device.
